Imagine you got the implant. You can switch to the 'home' vision from the implant and the reality, or you can customize your own vision. There are limitations of what you can or can not do, and is supervised by the government. This is a biased project which still focuses on the "vehicle" because North America is dominated by the auto industry, inclusive of Elon's own company. In reality, you shouldn't have to dig and then worry about network reception, layers, emergencies, due dilligence, and everything else that comes with safety doing any other underground project. The problem is traffic, the solution is CHANGING the type of primary transportation in North America from individual luxury cars to other forms of transportation. Example; Japan. Edit: Cities need to be redesigned, and these cement roads need to be transitioned to a controlled transportation system where nobody is behind the wheel; its automated with manual selection of destination; whether its a shared form of transport, or individual private pods which can be used at a premium for privacy or segregation from pooled.
