No longer a fan of the NBA after seeing the league ruling on this. It's plain to see that player health is at risk for any players who aren't superstars. These players go in with the expectation, at least, that they'll get the same protection that's warranted any other player on the floor, and this has shown me that the league really doesn't care about player health or protecting the players if they don't make the league enough money. I feel guilty watching this and thinking that I supported this sport. It's a plainly obvious flagrant and I think if it were Fox or Buddy who got thrown to the ground, it would've been ruled as such. But since Metu is a bench player and he's on a team that isn't quite popular, the refs simply don't care. Maybe I'm just now noticing, but the superstar treatment of players by the refs, in my mind, is getting to the point where it's endangering the health of players who put in their all, expecting fair play, and I can't, in good conscience, continue to be a fan of this sport.

That was a dick move by JV. Metu ended up breaking his wrist. Metu’s momentum carried him into JV and he immediately hooked his leg with his arm so he couldn’t do anything. Then to throw him down. One of the most dangerous plays I’ve ever seen. Should be suspended. Could of ended the mans whole career.
