  • Amazing. bezos thinks more advanced civilizations are going to let that into space when they've been destroying their own Mother Earth! I do NOT agree. Endanged Earth is a clear example that people like him don't know what they're doing. Not wise to "try to play God" and by stealing one way or another accompanied by forms of terrorism including upon environment because "the position, God, is already taken" (God doesn't steal, etc.). If people like bezos need a reminder without doubt that reminder will come just as previous reminder The Deluge came. As far as I'm concerned, what they're putting into the air is only a new kind of pollution that hasn't been defined yet ... possibly a very dangerous kind ... noting that electic is flamable and how much of that do people like bezos, facebook, twitter, google have additionally in mass flying around the atmosphere?

  • I have deliberately not ever bought anything from amazone. Recently I came very close to needing to consider being forced to use the damned thing as I couldn't source an particular special tool from any other place having to go up the chain and was one away from this monster. Getting ridiculous in the extreme. Many many sites advertising the tool and variations of it but no deal for whatever reason many also seemed illegitimate. The other couple well known multi national conglomerates are almost as problematic. Would take but one guy losing it to end a monopoly.

  • Oh yes, it certainly is a good thing that you are providing people with lower prices than they may otherwise pay, at least until Amazon finally drives the last competitor out of business! Then Amazon controls All pricing!

  • And usually when someone asks a friend, relative or acquaintance , hey, where’d you get that? They will always respond, I got it on Amazon not oh, I got it from a company on Amazon. The consumer always invariably feels that they are buying a product from Amazon!

  • Very good documentation on amazon, and I have to say, unlike many other commenters, it has actually changed my views of amazon for the better. It made it pretty clear to me that amazons problems, real and severe as they are, don't come from any sort of evil intent, unparalleled greed or anything like that, but simply from its size. I don't have a solution, but with a company this big, no matter how good the intentions are at their core, there will inevitably be bad apples whose actions poison the entire thing so to speak. Think of the apparently unachievably high rates the small employees are held to for example. Naturally, the company will try to set rates somewhat high for productivity, and If there's people who feel like they can't or don't want to meet those rates, rather than talking to a higher-up at the risk of upsetting them, there WILL be some who ignore safety rules or cheat the system in other ways in order to boost their own rates, which in turn pushes the data used to determine those rates higher than what it should be, tempting even more people to cheat the system and in turn amplify this effect exponentially over time. So really, though all the highest ranking leaders at amazon could be saints (although I don't know if they are), those problems would still exist, as they are a manifestation of the cumulative sideeffect of thousands of employees at the same company being, well... just average human beings like the vast majority of us.

The war in the middle east that Bush senior made popular and biden/obama admin accelerated is the reason for the muslim ban. Kids in cages started under Biden but when he started it they had no plan on uniting them with parents. BLM protest started under Biden. Biden/Obama has killed over 900 usa citizens with drone strikes, obama said "where was his dad" about a kid. We are BACK IN SYRIA. My military friends are in war training and wont have communication for 2 months. Biden is destroying jobs. Destroying potential new jobs. NEVER ANSWERS QUESTIONS. IS ONLY PESIMISTIC. Everyone was happy I could tell you when I was able to do that. I try to shop with that money strictly in my town if possible I will break down a shopping trip into two trips to share with others. I quit Amazon but, my hubby does any shopping there for some items. The main attraction is the quick shipping but, if we or anyone is at risk, it’s something I will consider.

  • The oxymoron is that while Amazon charges third party sellers hefty fees for the privilege of tapping into their precious customer base, customers who might actually return for the seller's product specifically but don't actually belong to that third-party seller, Amazon expects the entire burden of that customer's grievance falls to that seller. The seller pays Amazon to store, ship and provide customer service to a person who bought their product and yet is disingenuous enough to completely separate themselves from any liability. The profit margin is so low with the fees that it drives sellers to Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers because between the fees and the abusive return policies, sellers opt to have a volume business to turn profits. To me, that encourages sellers to put profits over product integrity. So, while sellers pay Amazon 40-60% for those privileges, they also need to keep a lawyer on deck for product liability claims.

They're just liars and want to get the results of Trump supporters are all bad. If that is really all it takes to trick a democrat into thinking all Trump supporters are evil, the Country is really in trouble . This is all Based on All Trump supporters are evil. Rather than all the people that did the insurrections were Trump supporters and doing evil. That is the Same as saying that all poodles are dogs , so all dogs are poodles. Liberals can't really ever get it right. Seeing only what they already expect to see, is really not seeing what is going on. True to form never understanding anything. Trump did a lot of good . Perfect, no. Insite a riot no. Was there a riot , yes. He likely didn't help it not happen as he should've, but that's not the same thing. Fools control here for a while . While taking from the poor again and giving it to themselves and the rich. While pretending to help the poor. Poor fools that vote democrat to make it happen more. I stand on the side and watch the stupid do it again and again. Trump got the jobs back to America. Will Biden give them back to china ? Fools are in charge , so let's see what happens. It will hurt the poor a lot if they get it wrong. And they get everything wrong. So, you should expect high prices , high unemployment and lots of shortages of things needed. The democrats are making this happen for the future. This is after covid is over. The stage is set for socialism . Fools want it to happen (by their actions) , the stupid make it happen by their votes and they're the same people.

  • In the world of the open economy and the internet there is endless ideas on how to capitalize to the point you can even embark on monopolizing commerce. For example literally being Amazon; this genuinely intrigues me that Jeff Bezos has predicted and successfully manipulated the economy to expand his business. Genuinely he has pioneered the concept of capitalizing on the American economy using only the internet; this is absolutely insane. I think we all forget the 21st century is practically run by the internet. Now there are many flaws that have also come with Amazon's success; It's really scary Jeff has so much leverage that he can openly manipulate the economy to the point he can negotiate 100% Tax breaks, WHAT THE FUCK.
